EMERGENCY services attended an incident earlier this week.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At 12pm on Monday, August 14, we received a report that a man had fallen from Ovingham Bridge, Prudhoe.
“Emergency services attended and the man was rescued from the water and taken to hospital, where he remains with serious injuries.”
The man remains in a critical but stable condition.
