The Dementia Friends programme, the largest initiative of its kind in the UK, is holding an event at Haltwhistle Library.
The event will take place at 1.15pm on Monday, November 6.
The aim of the initiative is to transform how people think, act, and talk about the condition.
It is an opportunity to learn more about what it is like to live with dementia, and to turn that understanding into action.
The Haltwhistle Partnership has teamed up with Alzheimer Disease Society (ADS) to offer the next face-to-face Dementia Friends information session at Haltwhistle Library.
Adele Kinsella, Dementia Friends lead for ADS Northumberland, said: "It's only an hour, finishing at 2.15pm, during the session, we will learn more about dementia and the small ways we can all make a difference.
"Participants will receive an information leaflet and a Dementia Friends badge to wear with pride."
All are welcome. Those with enquiries can call Annette on 07968229767.
