Heddon-on-the-Wall Art Group held its popular Annual Exhibition this October.
The creative showcase was held on October 7 and 8.
The event displayed more than 70 pieces of artwork that had been created by the group's members.
The public were invited to vote for their favourite art piece, with longstanding group member Carl Stewart winning the prestigious Rose Bowl award for his painting of Cemaes Bay in Wales.
The event showcased a spectrum of styles and mediums.
On display were drawings and paintings using mediums such as pastel, oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolour, collage, and more.
Choosing a winner proved difficult for those in attendance, with the styles and subject matters so widely varying.
But the most important thing for the group is to champion local, creative people who enjoy what they do.
Visitors to the exhibition were also able to enjoy a wide range of tempting homemade cakes and savouries, raising an impressive £194 for Tynedale Hospice at Home.
The community group, which welcomes new members of all abilities, welcomes visiting tutors and provides lots of encouragement, support, and friendly chat.
The group meets fortnightly on Wednesday evenings in the W.I. Hall in Heddon.
