People across the region are invited to put their questions to Metro Mayor, Jamie Driscoll, at his upcoming Question Time event.
Taking place at One Strawberry Lane, central Newcastle on October 24 from 6.30pm-7.30pm.
Hosted by former BBC Radio Newcastle presenter, Alfie Joey, the theme of the night is 'Net Zero', exploring how the North East's devolution deal can help reduce regional carbon emissions.
Mayor Jamie Driscoll, leading the North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA), has made the issue of net zero a key focus.
One of his early priorities was the creation of a £9 million low carbon investment fund in 2021, leading to a total of £18m when matched by other sources.
Anyone wanting to attend the event can book a ticket online and pre-ask a question via Eventbrite.
People can join a virtual Zoom audience if they would rather tune in from their own home.
Mayor’s Question Time will also be live streamed via Facebook page, @NorthofTyneMayor.
