Hexham's The Forum Cinema hosted a community screening and mini awards ceremony in conjunction with Stage Fright and Gateway Into The Community.
Dubbed the 'Foscars', the October 21 event was funded by Film Hub North as part of its Strategic Partnerships Award.
The event featured short films produced by Stage Fright and Gateway Into the Community.
Their participants chose 'The Greatest Showman Sing-Along' as the crowning feature.
Following this, Hexham's Mayor, Derek Kennedy, channelled his inner 'Greatest Showman' by presenting statue awards to participants nominated by their group.
Captured under a balloon arch with non-alcoholic prosecco in hand, the happy nominees provided perfect photo opportunities.
The whole affair was underlined by an atmosphere of enjoyment, playful cheering, and applause.
The Forum Cinema invites local youth groups, activity clubs, and any relevant groups to collaborate for future events.
Representatives from prospective teams and groups are encouraged to send enquiries to clare@forumhexham.com.
