TYNEDALE Lions Club’s Santa sleigh is about to hit the road next month ready to spread festive cheer to children in communities across the district.
The tour by Father Christmas has been an annual tradition for more than 30 years, raising funds which the Lions distribute to local good causes.

The actual routes will be published on the clubs page two days before he comes but here is the dates set (weather permitting). All journeys will start at 5:30pm
His journey will begin on Wednesday, December 6 at Fourstones and Newbrough, then he will be in Wall and Acomb on Thursday 7, Hexham on Friday 8, Acomb on Saturday 9, Humshaugh on Sunday 10.
Then the following week he will be in Haydon Bridge on Tuesday, December 12, Hexham again on Wednesday 13 and Thursday 14, Corbridge on Friday 15, Stocksfield on 17, Slaley and Riding Mill on Tuesday 19.
His final dates before Christmas is Wednesday 20 in Stocksfield, Thursday 21 and Friday 22 in Corbridge.
