WEATHER warnings for wind and rain are covering the North East during the UK's latest storm.
Storm Jocelyn has followed in the wake of Storm Isha, which damaged properties and closed schools across England and Tynedale earlier this week.
The Met Office has issued an updated yellow weather warning for wind covering Northumberland until 3pm tomorrow (January 24), as parts of Scotland and Cumbria were also issued with a yellow warning for rain.
The Met Office said: "A spell of strong winds associated with Storm Jocelyn is expected to affect the area leading to some localised disruption."
It outlined what to expect during Storm Jocelyn:
- Some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport expected
- Coastal routes, sea fronts and coastal communities will be affected by spray and/or large waves
- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges
