An organisation in Haltwhistle are providing residents with a 1:1 help on using technology and getting online from February 6.
Haltwhistle Partnership and NCVA launched the initiative called Tea with IT, where residents can book a Tuesday slot throughout February and March.
Rob Gilley of NCVA said: "Increasingly we are challenged to do more things on the internet, such as online banking, managing bills, booking medical appointments such as COVID vaccinations, applying for work, accessing benefits, and other essential services.
"The internet can also be a great source of entertainment, and useful for keeping in touch with family and friends.
"People can get help to set up email accounts and much more. For many people, and understandably, getting online can be very daunting but no need to worry as help is on hand and getting started is just a phone call away.”
Rob, who has supported people across Northumberland to get online, will deliver these sessions.
To secure a slot, contact Rob on 01670 858688 or Haltwhistle Partnership on 01434 321242.
