TICKET sales have opened for one of the district's most popular events.
The Tynedale Beer and Cider Festival is back at Tynedale Rugby Club from June 13-16.
This years event features various bands, including Love Sophie, Spilt Milk and Baldy Holly.
Hundreds are expected to descend on the rugby ground to sample some of the finest ales, beers, ciders, perries, and other bar classics.
The event sees money raised for good causes, and this year, Northumbria Blood Banks, the Great North Air Ambulance, Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue and Cygnus will benefit.
The festival started in 2002 and has since raised over £1,003,700 for charities and Tynedale RFC.
Even during the lockdown period, the festival went online in the absence of mass gatherings and was a huge hit.
With your ticket, you get a commemorative half-pint festival tumbler to try the drinks (non-returnable/non-refundable). There will be live music on each day, and free parking for cars.
