A SCHOOL raised hundreds of pounds for two national children's charities.
Mowden Hall School, Stocksfield, organised a fundraising day to support both the Speak Out, Stay Safe program by the NSPCC and Childline, which raised £299.45.
A spokesperson for the school said: "Pupils spanning various year groups engaged in collaborative games, ranging from our youngest learners in Pre-Prep to our eldest in the Prep School.
"In the Prep School, each student was provided with a pencil case to embellish, incorporating elements from their ongoing math topics. The results were not only visually stunning but also reflected a commendable grasp of mathematical concepts.
"In Pre-Prep, students embraced the theme by dressing up as a specific number, while Year 2 students orchestrated a captivating assembly centred around numerical concepts," they said.
All funds raised will go directly to the NSPCC and Childline.
