TWO women were rescued by emergency services after their vehicle overturned at Prudhoe Bypass.
The incident happened around 4.30pm on Sunday, February 11, when the police were called to the one-vehicle collision.
The two women were treated at the scene by paramedics and the road was re-opened after the vehicle was recovered.
A Northumbria Police spokeswoman said: At 4.30pm yesterday (Sunday February 11), we received a report of a one-vehicle collision on Prudhoe Bypass.
“It was reported that the vehicle had overturned.
“Emergency services attended and two women who were inside the vehicle, who were believed to have sustained non-serious injuries, were treated at the scene by paramedics.
“The vehicle involved was recovered and the road fully re-opened a short time later.”
