The National Lottery is offering discounts and free entry across hundreds of the venues and attractions it funds across the UK.
From March 9 to 17, National Lottery players can access these offers by presenting valid online or retail National Lottery tickets, scratch cards or instant win games.
Highlights in the North East include a visit to South Tyneside's first electricity-powered lighthouse and half a mile of magnesium limestone cliffs at Souter Lighthouse and The Leas.
There are also various offers at the Discovery Museum in Newcastle, as well as free entry at RSPB Salthome, and discounts at a number of other locations.
Chief executive of Arts Council England and chair of the National Lottery Forum, Darren Henley, said: "We want players to get out and experience something new by taking advantage of the low-cost and free days out."
A full list of participating venues can be found on the National Lottery website.
