THE owner of a farm shop met a popular presenter and a Michelin-starred chef when they visited the business for a television series.
Robin Baty, owner of North Acomb Farm Shop, in Bywell Stocksfield, featured in series two episode seven of Robson Green's Weekend Escapes, which was filmed in May 2023.
The family business is run by Robin and his wife Caroline.
Robson and his episode partner, head chef and owner of Michelin-starred House of Tides in Newcastle, Kenny Atkinson, visited the farm shop to buy ingredients for dinner before heading on a wildlife-watching boat trip.

Robin said: "Both were very interested in the history of the farm shop and nearly all the meat we sell is produced on the farm.
"All the pies and cakes are baked here on the farm, it's a real farm shop, not a deli."
He added Robson even said the business was his local farm shop.
"It was a nice sunny day, and they enjoyed learning more about livestock. Both said it was important to know where our food comes from. They were also interesting to talk to, they were good conversation."
Robson and Kenny bought some steak and vegetables from Robin's shop and cooked the ingredients later in the episode.
"They were just amazed by the produce we sell," he added.
