A 'beautifully presented bistro' will soon go up for sale in the town centre.
The Natural Grocer Market & Social, on Cattle Market, Hexham, will soon be listed as a business for sale by Christie & Co, a specialist advisor for buying and selling businesses in various sectors.
Gordon and Joanne Moore, owners of the cafe and deli, said they will continue to develop the business' offering while it is on the market.
Christie & Co described the business: "Located in the heart of Hexham, the beautifully presented bistro business focuses on local producers and its range of amazing local products, something that is reflected in their popular tapas nights.
"Other events hosted include wine tasting and private functions. The ground floor includes seating for clients together with the upper level at the rear of the property dedicated to the retail shop, and the first floor is the bistro."

Mr Moore said: "Whilst the business has been put on the market we are continuing to grow and develop what we offer. We love Hexham and the great vibe that is developing with an amazing food offering, great indie shops and a varied cultural scene.
"We are not taking our foot off the gas and we have big plans for this year which we are pushing on with. We have inadvertently pulled the tail of a tiger and have created something very special and with me being 64 this year I need to recognise that I simply don't have the drive I had as a 20-year-old.
"We are showing substantial double digit year on year growth despite the current roadworks which should end in the next few months. Sales of commercial property can take a considerable time and we are in no hurry at all to sell."
Marslie McGregor, business agent of Pubs & Restaurants at Christie & Co, said: “This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to run their own business. Natural Grocer is a turnkey business with a popular and large following and has a huge scope for growth. It's currently only open four days per week and there is potential for more evening trade.”
Price is available on application. This is brand new to the market.
