A National Trust site near Cambo is aiming to plant 100,000 snowdrops before Sunday for its annual 'winter spectacle'.
Wallington has hosted the annual event since 2015, where during February, visitors arrive in droves to plant snowdrops.
Every week, approximately 3,000-4,000 people have been assisting National Trust gardeners and volunteers to enhance the winter beauty and plant the next 100,000 snowdrops by February 25, which will push the site's total to a whopping 900,000.

Head gardener Simon Thompson said: "Snowdrops are uplifting to see – a sight that makes winter feel shorter.
"Children who helped us plant snowdrops a few years ago are now coming back as teenagers to see them. And when they’ve grown up and got their own kids, those bulbs will still be there."
The ambition is to attain a million snowdrops by next year and during the event, guests are free to plant as many flowers as they wish from 11am to 3pm daily.
Gibside, near Gateshead, is also inviting visitors to plant snowdrops for the first time this half-term.
You can join in with the planting daily until Thursday, February 22, between 10am–12pm and 1pm–3pm.
