Round Our Way submitted a Freedom of Information request to each local council in the UK for data on how many potholes were reported each year in a five-year time frame from 2018-2023.
Northumberland County Council reported a total of 281,538 potholes over the five years.
Round Our Way stated potholes are at a five-year high across the UK and have grown significantly in the last year due in part to increased storms and floods.
Northumberland County Council was contacted for comment.
