English Heritage's Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens is inviting families to commemorate Mothering Sunday on March 10.
The event will offer lunches and cream teas in the tearoom, along with a walk in the blossoming gardens.
While there, guests will have the opportunity to tour the thirty acres of quarry garden and medieval castle, with the new cafe also to be found in the old stables.
Explore the maze-like castle interiors, the newer Greek revival mansion, and formal gardens.
Alongside this, Turner nominee Ingrid Pollard MBE's recently installed art exhibition can also be viewed.
The exhibition runs until July.
