A POOL house extension has been approved at a residential property.
1A Runnymede Road, Darras Hall, Ponteland, has had its planning application for a single-storey pool house extension and a glazed link extension to the rear approved.
An agent on behalf of the company Greatspace Architects submitted the application to Northumberland County Council.
A design statement said: "The form, massing and materiality of the proposed extension will follow that of the existing building and has been carefully designed to not impact on the neighbouring properties in terms of overshadowing or loss of light and privacy."

Ponteland Parish Council made no comment in support or objecting to the proposals, while an ecologist commenting on behalf of the county council did not object on ecological grounds.
It was recommended in a delegated report that the application be permitted, on conditions including that 'the approved development stays in complete accordance with the approved plans'.
The notice of planning permission from Northumberland County Council said: "In dealing with the application we have worked with the applicant in a positive and proactive manner and have implemented the requirement in paragraph 38 of the National Planning Policy Framework."
