A PERSON has been hospitalised after a fall in West Wylam.
Emergency services were contacted at 10.30 am on Tuesday March 5 (today) and arrived on the scene almost twenty minutes later.
The person was assessed then taken to hospital by an ambulance.
A spokesperson for the Great North Air Ambulance said: "Our critical care team was activated at 10.30am to reports of a fall in West Wylam.
"We had a paramedic and doctor team on board our aircraft and they arrived on scene at 10.48am.
"Our team worked alongside the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) to assess and treat a patient and then the patient was taken to hospital by a NEAS road crew."
