Schoolchildren have been embracing World Book Day today (Thursday March 7) by donning a fantastic variety of costumes in celebration of the annual event.
Here are some of the brilliant costumes of pupils sent in to us!
Harry Potter fans Lucas and Ryan Newton dressed up as Draco Malfoy and Hagrid.
Also a wizard fan - Four-year-old Oliver Murdy from Hexham First School dressed up as Harry Potter.
Jake and Holly Crowe also dressed up as their favourite characters from Harry Potter.
Ivy-Mae and Dani-Skye Shepherd was Tinkerbelle and Hermoine for the day.
It was a special day as it was Ivy-Mae's first World Book Day.
Anya and Brody Ogle Slaley, from Corbridge Middle School and Slaley First School, dressed up as one of the Starlight Stables Gang and a farmer from Adam's Farm.
St Mary's First School pupil Nathan Waugh's costume was out of this world as he decided to dress up as an astronaut and wishes to fly to Jupiter one day.
Alice in Wonderland fan Abigail Dodd aged four dressed up as The Mad Hatter.
Beaux Clark dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood and her brother Kobe as Willy Wonka from Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory.
Ruby Louise Bell also chose to dress up as Little Red Riding Hood.
Theo Knight, 3, and Millie Knight ,2, look 'super' in their costumes as Wonder Woman and Spiderman.
