A NURSERY is celebrating its continued success of being rated 'outstanding' by education watchdogs.
Little Tinklers have once again been graded as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted for their Ponteland nursery.
This is the second time they have achieved this accolade since opening in 2016, and the 4th time in a row the nursery has achieved ‘outstanding’ between its two settings.
The nursery chain is run by Georgina Lester, a qualified primary school teacher and early years professional.
Over the years the business has flourished and evolved a unique ethos, which boasts a Scandinavian style curriculum based on the seasons, nature and the local community, alongside offering quality educational enhancements such as employing their own artist and gardener in residence.
These additions also led to the Nursery winning the coveted title ‘North East Nursery of the Year’ in 2022.
Their latest report labelled the Ponteland nursery as an ‘exceptional, vibrant nursery, where children are incredibly happy, safe and secure, and arrive eager to explore and learn.’
The report further details the children’s ‘exemplary manners’ and the ‘superb opportunities to learn about nature and wildlife. Parents are very eager to share highly positive feedback about the nursery.
They also describe staff as 'phenomenal' and 'amazing’, and the inspector further adds that staff are inspirational teachers and have exceptional knowledge of child development. The management team is described as passionate, dedicated, and committed.
Georgia said about the report: "I'm over the moon! Our vision has only been so successful due to the dedicated and passionate staff team we have; I'm so proud of them. I'm really excited to be expanding Little Tinklers with our new ventures.
"Alongside this success, Little Tinklers we are currently expanding with the opening of two further early years settings.
"One nursery will be based in the centre of Hexham, catering for 0-3 years, and the other will be a ‘wild nursery’ for 3-4 years situated in idyllic farmland just outside Ponteland. Both new settings will be open all year round and will be accepting funded places and childcare vouchers."
