A Northumberland teenager triumphed at this year's RSPCA People's Choice Awards.
Sophie Green, 18, from Cramlington, captured top honours with her image Leap Frogs.
It features two dogs in mid-flight over a fence at Blyth beach.
The public gave the picture the most votes, securing her victory among 14 contenders.
Remarkably, the contest received a total of 5,700 votes.
Ms Green's winning photograph depicts a frisky Cockapoo named Mabel and a Spaniel called Pepper.
Not only did she capture the People's Choice accolade, but she also placed as a runner-up in December's RSPCA Young Photographer Awards with her portfolio of dogs engaging in agility exercises and Pepper playfully peeking through tree branches.
Sophie Green said: "I never expected to win!
"It's so nice knowing that so many people have liked and appreciated my photo.
"This has inspired me to carry on doing photography, maybe even have a business on the side!"
In recognition of her achievements, Ms Green will receive a £100 Amazon voucher and an RSPCA Young Photographer trophy.
The RSPCA will launch this year's Young Photographer Awards on May 7.
