A BUSINESSES' window was damaged in the town centre over the weekend.
Angela Wilson, owner of The Small World Cafe on Market Place in Hexham, said she was "annoyed" to discover one of the property's front windows had been damaged late on Saturday night when she arrived on Sunday.
"It meant we had to change plans for the day as I had to come in and sort clearing glass and get a glazier. It's the hassle that's most annoying," Angela said.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At around 10.55pm on Saturday, April 13, we received a report that a window had been damaged at a premises on Market Place in Hexham.
“Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information should use the ‘Report’ page on our website or call 101, quoting NP-20240413-1323.”
