A teenager accused of stabbing a schoolgirl to death will face a murder trial.
Holly Newton, 15, from Haltwhistle, was fatally stabbed in the Priestpopple area of Hexham at around 5.10pm on January 27 last year and later died at Newcastle RVI.
The accused 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Newcastle Crown Court on July 15.
