A COUPLE plans to jet off to Paris for a honeymoon after a perfect wedding at Hexham House.
Surveyor Jane Sutcliffe, 43 and accountant Craig Jones, 55 met in a coffee shop 15 months ago and claim it was love at first sight.
Craig proposed to Jane last September (2023) at home.
Not wanting to wait any longer, the pair got married at Hexham House on April 6, 2024.
Speaking about their wedding, Jane said: "We chose to marry at Hexham House because it’s beautiful and it holds a special place in our heart. It takes us back to an early date that we had there whilst staying at Slaley Hall.
"Everything on the day went perfectly – I wore a Hermione Dress and Craig wore a bespoke suit and we got married in front of a small group of our family members.
"We even had my daughter Florence as a bridesmaid and our ring bearer was my son Noah.
"The ceremony, the photos, the restaurant afterwards (Bouchon in Hexham) was also perfect, but I think that the best moment of the day was becoming Mr and Mrs Sutcliffe Jones was the best bit!
"On the day, we also had a bagpiper at the ceremony, and our dogs were brought along for the photographs in the grounds afterwards."
