A business has been named 'the best of the best' in its town.

Restaurant Guru has recognised The Manor House Inn as the Best Pub and Bar' in Haltwhistle 2024.

The freehold family-run pub, hotel and restaurant, based in the centre of Britain, has been owned by Terry Christie since 2018.

The online platform is used to discover and read reviews about restaurants worldwide. Users can read restaurant menus and reviews to make informed dining choices.

The awards Restaurant Guru gives out are based on customer reviews.

Last year, the business also won the best-recommended pub award in Haltwhistle.

Terry said about the award, "Restaurant Guru recognises achievements worldwide through online reviews. We were recommended in 2022, so to win the award for best restaurant in Halwhisle two years later is fantastic.

"There are many great places in Haltwhistle, so to be named the best shows how talented and skilled our staff are.

"We are all very proud."
