AN APPLICATION for a temporary caravan site has been approved for next year's holiday season.
Tynedale Park on Station Road in Corbridge, home to Tynedale Rugby Club, is a popular destination for caravanners yearly.
Every year, the Camping and Caravanning Club applies to Northumberland County Council for a temporary holiday site licence at the rugby club for a certain amount of time.
The Camping and Caravanning Club bills itself as the ‘friendly club’, and visitors come to see the treasures of Northumberland while staying at the location.
The temporary site will be open for 23 nights from July 8, 2025, to August 10, 2025, with a maximum of 60 units per night.
The application was submitted on Mon Apr 22 2024, by Steve Lissemore, a member of the club’s exempted camping department.
It was then validated on the submission date and approved by the council on April 29.
