Five local Women's Institutes branches came together embarked on a trip to attend the Harrogate Spring Flower Show at the Great Yorkshire Show Ground.
Members initially got together at Hexham Mart, before heading to the event with Tyne Valley Coaches.
They experienced a variety of activities, including viewing plant nursery displays, attending talks and demonstrations, and exploring numerous trade stands.
All members concluded the day with a purchase, primarily comprising of plants of all sizes, all of which returned home safely with their new owners.
