Hexham Climate Café is set to open its doors on May 25 between 11am and 1pm.
This month's focus is on spiders, with local expert Fran Garcia expounding on their fascinating features and lifestyles.
Spiders are amazing creatures - mothers, weavers of beautiful and complex webs, incredible aeronauts.
"After 400 million years of evolution, they are wonderfully adapted to a multitude of habitats," said Garcia. Attendees can also learn about 'Restore Nature', a major family-friendly march slated for June 22 in London.
Promoted by Friends of the Earth, The National Trust, RSPB and more, the event calls for government action to repair natural world damage. Visitors can discover ways to participate either in person or from home.
