A Hexham church choir is set to embark on its second Italian tour next month.
St Mary's choir will be singing on the Basilica of Assisi's high altar on June 9 during Sunday mass, before heading to Rome to perform at the Venerable English College on June 16.
The choir has been led for more than two decades by music director, Paul Berry, and last visited the European country in 2022.
Mr Berry's choir will also appearing at a midweek evening concert in Trequanda, where they'll be singing North East folk music and pieces by Northumbrian composer, Fiona Lander, among others.
When last on the continent, the choir appeared at Monte Cassino Abbey for a 'special' performance, as some members' fathers had fought there during World War Two.
2022's tour also included appearances at the Crypt of the Basilica of Assisi and the Basilicas of St Paul, outside the walls.
In 2018, the choir also received an invite to sing at Sunday services in Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
