A long-awaited skate park will officially open this weekend alongside the relaunch of a festival.
The redeveloped Highfield Skate Park in Prudhoe will open on Saturday, June 1, the same day the free event Highfield Fest will take place.
CANVAS Spaces partnered with Prudhoe Town Council to deliver the £180,000 skate park scheme.
The popular Highfield Fest Family Fun Day, organised by Prudhoe Town Council, takes place throughout the day from 11am until 5pm at Prudhoe's Highfield Park.

Visitors can expect rides, catering vans, stalls, music and competitions to win prizes in.
Highfield Skate Park will officially open from 12pm-4pm.
