A new escape-room venue is set to open in a Newcastle shopping centre this Saturday (June 15).
The Escapologist, opening at the Metrocentre Shopping Centre, will offer a variety of themed rooms for everyone, from families with young children to adult-only groups.
The experiences range from 'Incredible Creatures & How to Feed Them' to 'The Vault'.
Among the other quests, visitors can attempt to save the world from chaos in 'Wonderland, Lost in Time'.
'Chaos in the Cosmos' features a space mission to rescue a distressed ship, and 'The Infected' will require you to be 'humanity's last hope for survival' in a world where the dead have risen.
The new attraction will also feature a steampunk-themed bar where visitors can try cocktails that bubble, smoke, and change colours.
Guests will be seated in 'dragon-sized' birdcages capable of holding a party of eight.
A selection of gourmet coffees and teas will also be available at the bar.
The venue says it will be a suitable destination for family outings, team-building events, or a day out with friends.
Pre-bookings are now open for those who wish to be the first to escape the new rooms.
