Tynedale Hospice at Home held a special photo event last weekend to celebrate the amazing work its volunteers do.

As part of the 40th anniversary of National Volunteers Week, Tynedale Hospice invited volunteers onto Tyne Green on Sunday June 9 and set up a drone to take a picture of them in the shape of the word GIVE, before supplying refreshments at the mart.

Some drama would follow, when the drone got stuck in a tree, but thankfully, T.C. services were on hand to rescue it.

On Facebook, Tynedale Hospice wrote: "We are so grateful to have the support of this whole community to help us provide Nursing Care, Bereavement Support, Patient Transport and Complementary therapy in the locality to those with life limiting illnesses."
