A FAST food business has opened in a shipping container in an industrial estate.
Stacey Raine opened the fast food joint Food Envy in Hadrian Enterprise Park, Haltwhistle, in February.
It is located off the Haltwhistle bypass roundabout, just inside the estate's gates.
She previously ran a food van based in the same industrial estate before it was forced to shut down due to Covid, named The Butty Box.
Stacey bought an empty shipping container and has worked on opening the business since September 2023.
Food Envy offers all-day breakfasts, burgers and fries, which are cooked in beef dripping as a healthier alternative to vegetable oil.
Other menu items include slow-cooked bourbon pulled pork and loaded fries.
Grant, Stacey's partner, is helping her run the business for now. He said: "We've got a five-star food hygiene rating, the inside is immaculate. Everyone who comes comments on how clean and smart it is inside, we want to keep that ethic going."
Food Envy has vehicular access and can safely accommodate HGV wagons.
"We're the only site that we know of that can accommodate HGVs. We have ample parking," Grant said.
Stacey added: "You can just ring up, pick it up and go, or sit down, we've got picnic benches outside."
They explained it is one of the only places between Newcastle to Carlisle on the A69 that allows HGVs to park.
"There is a lay-by with a truck stop if you were heading west from Newcastle back to Haltwhistle. But it's just a lay-by and it struggles for parking. We're just trying to get the word out that we're here, I don't think a lot of people realise."
They added their customer base has been a mixture of people from Haltwhsitle and HGV drivers.
"We're open to everybody," the pair said.
One Google review said: "Fantastic people serving fantastic food, good parking, off and back on the A69 in no time, very clean and great value for money."
Food Envy was rated five by the Food Standards Agency on April 19.
