A Northumberland restaurant has been named one of the top 20 in the UK.
Pine found its place among the best, ranking 12th in the National Restaurant Awards list of the top 100 places to dine this year.
The restaurant was also announced to be in running for the Estrella Damm Sustainability Award 2024.
Launched in 2007, the awards shine a spotlight on the best eateries, from Michelin-starred joints to gastropubs, rewarding outstanding kitchen and service staff across the nation.
The top 100 is decided by 200 experts, like chefs, restaurant owners, critics and food writers.
Pine's chef-owner Cal Byerley, and co-owner and front-of-house manager Sian Byerley, said: "Being recognised by some of the world’s most discerning foodies is huge for us, especially featuring in two significant restaurant industry lists.
"We're proud of all that we’ve achieved over the last few years and that's down to the hard work and dedication of absolutely everyone on the team we both want to say a big thank you to everyone we work with for helping to make the restaurant what it is."
