A case of 'indecent exposure' was reported to police on Friday night.

A woman walking her dogs at 9pm reported to police she was approached by a male who exposed himself.

A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of indecent exposure which is reported to have taken place at Prudhoe Riverside on Friday (June 28).

“It was reported that a woman was walking her dogs in the area at 9pm when she was approached by a male who then exposed himself.

“The victim then left the area.

“Enquiries into the report are ongoing and anyone with information can get in touch with us by sending a private message on social media, visiting the live chat on our website or by completing a crime update form.

“Those unable to contact us those ways should call 101.

“Please quote the crime reference number 075774N/24.”
