Forestry England’s Kielder Forest is preparing to launch a new Olympic-themed trail event.
Kicking off on July 23, this new offering coincides with the Gruffalo 25th birthday trails, adding an athletic twist by incorporating Olympics-inspired challenges.
Visitors will discover hidden Gruffalo character signs while attempting tests of skill and agility.
This free event will encourage participants to find scattered letters along the journey, which will decode an Olympic-themed word.
Forestry England is also encouraging visitors to host their own Gruffalo 25th birthday party picnics.
Free party packs are available to download featuring invitations, food ideas, and party games.
