Three National Highways road closures near Tynedale have been announced this week.
The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure already in place is expected to carry on this week:
- The A69, from 7pm May 28 to 6am July 6, will see slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 both directions Haydon Bridge to Hexham - traffic signals to carry out safety barrier works.
A further two closures will begin over the next two weeks:
- The A69, from 7pm July 1 to 6am July 6, will see slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Mowden Hall, junction to Styford Roundabout - Lane closures with some convoy working to resurface the Road.
- The A69, from 7pm July 15 to 7am July 20, will have slight delays (under 10 minutes): A69 Stagshaw Interchange, various overnight slip road closures for carriageway resurfacing.
National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in its schedule.
