There is a separate 18th-century building serving as the hostel, which includes six ensuite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 28 people.

In addition, there is a chalet with two double bedrooms, each boasting an ensuite shower and wood burning stove.
Located in a secluded spot within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the site has become a popular location for holidaymakers.
It often attracts guests visiting nearby attractions such as Hadrian’s Wall, the Lake District National Park, and market towns like Hexham and Alston.
Current owner, Pauline Elliott, together with her partner, Ian Baker, have managed the hostel for 33 years.
Ms Elliott said: "It's been a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
"We shall miss all our guests and the local community who love having the hostel on the doorstep, but it's time to move on."
The sale is overseen by Mark Worley, director - hotels north at Christie & Co.
