A huge prom event is coming to the Torch Centre in Hexham this month.

A Night To Remember will take place on July 26, and will feature celebrations for both children and adults.

From 1pm to 4pm, children are invited to attend their own prom complete with upbeat music, entertainment, and a buffet.

In the evening, from 6pm to 9pm, adults will then enjoy their own prom.

Greeted with a drink on entry, attendees will enjoy a warm meal, appetising desserts and the thrill of selecting a prom king and queen.

Adding to the excitement is a grand raffle with a range of attractive prizes, while a disco from around 7.30pm ensures there is no dull moment.

With more than 50 guests expected, it is said to be Hexham's biggest indoor gathering since the Covid-19 pandemic.

The dress code for the event is smart dress, prom dress or suit and tie.

Tickets, priced at £10 per person, are available from Linda Ferris at Stage Fright CIC, and carers can get in for free.

In addition, Tynedale Hospice are offering 10 per cent discount vouchers for prom attire with every ticket purchased.
