Taylor Swift fans, aka 'Swifties', are on the hunt thanks to Carlisle illustrator Adam Doyle's latest creation, Where in the World is Taylor?

The graphic book, inspired by the classic Where's Wally? collection, follows Taylor as she visits over 15 cities with her squad and a few 'frenemies'.

Adam, a digital marketing executive with Haltwhistle's Rapid Reach, is no stranger to hidden character books, having previously worked on similar projects with Arsenal, a best-seller with Roblox, and Marvel's Spiderman.

"It's not just for kids, it's for everyone," Adam said.

“There’s hidden jokes throughout it.

"You have to search for Taylor and lots of her friends or ‘Frenemies’, there’s also her cats, Kanye West (he seems to be in compromising positions throughout it) and a few of her exes like Jake Gyllenhaal.

“When I did the Spiderman project, there were lots of Marvel characters to include in it, but with this, there’s been a lot more freedom from the publishing house to play around and add things I wanted to draw.

"It is rare you get that in illustration these days," he said.

Adam also likes to sneak friends and family into the books, as such with his nephew Arthur in the Spiderman book. Adam also likes to sneak friends and family into the books, as such with his nephew Arthur in the Spiderman book. (Image: Supplied)

Regarding the popularity of the book among Swift's fans, Adam said: “There’s been lots of Swifties making videos with the book on social media.

"It’s funny, I’ve got my dog as a hidden character so there’s a lot of Swifties going around looking for my dog," he said.

When asked if he too was a 'Swiftie', Adam said: "I’ve been asked that a lot but no I’m not, I couldn’t name a song before the start of the project but now I can at least name three or four.

“I did read that she’s raised about £70m for food banks recently, which is pretty amazing," he said.

Adam, who grew up on Martin Handford's Where's Wally? series, said he's lucky to have found a 'niche' within the illustration industry.

"It’s going to be a lot harder in a few years with AI but with this, it’s a perfect niche because if you play around with AI it’s easy to reproduce artwork but it struggles with crowds, with hundreds of people with hands and faces, so for now I think I’m safe," he said.

Where in the World is Taylor? is available to purchase in shops such as WHSmith and HMV but it can also be purchased from Anthem Publishing directly.

It is priced at around £9.99.
