A NEW pop-up restaurant has opened in the marketplace in Hexham.
The owners of The Beaumont Hotel, Hexham, have opened a new pop-up eatery in Hexham's marketplace.
Roger and Magda Davy opened 31 Market Place on July 11.
"It's a soft opening to begin with," Roger said. "Because we have The Beaumont, quite a few people have had an idea of what's happening because they're always asking. It's a pop-up to begin with so we're refurbishing the rest of the building and then we'll open a permanent restaurant."

They will utilise the summer and put tables and chairs outside.
"You can come in just for a drink, or for food and drink. The food is just light bites with pinsa, a type of pizza," Roger added.
He said: "I think this particular location has the best outside seating in Hexham and also you're right on the market square so there's a lot of footfall."
