A web development company in Gateshead celebrated its tenth anniversary with a move to a new office in Swalwell.
Ridgetek's relocation marks a decade of the business offering end-to-end web solutions, aiming to maintain robust online presence for businesses.
Peter Suridge, founder and director of Ridgetek, said: "Our new office move from Prudhoe to Swalwell is a significant step for Ridgetek, providing us with a dynamic and accessible location closer to the heart of Gateshead and Newcastle."
Mr Suridge's venture was inspired by his caring role for his autistic son and his decision to shape his career around his needs.
Mr Suridge, said: "My son, now 15, was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD and learning disabilities when he was about five.
"This came as a huge shock and forced me to look at my priorities and reshape my career."
Joining Peter at Ridgetek is Rutva Patel, a long-time friend, and business partner, who contributes legal expertise and client management skills to the team.
Mr Patel said: "Our shared history and complementary skills are one of the key parts of Ridgetek’s success."
The team has also been joined by Ayodele Olaosebikan, a new addition providing design solutions to help businesses thrive.
In line with Suridge's passion for inclusivity, Ridgetek also supports Gateshead Choices College in offering work placements.
Mr Suridge added: "I’m delighted that we have moved into these new premises which will allow us to grow and expand our client base.
"No matter how much we grow, I’ll never lose sight of my priorities, whether that’s with my "dad" hat on or meeting the ever-evolving needs of our clients."
