A performance of William Shakespeare's Othello will take place at the Queen's Hall, Hexham.
There will be a performance on September 18 and September 19, presented by the Elysium Theatre Company starting at 7.30pm and last approximately two and a half hours, with tickets from £14.
The age guidance is 12 and above.
The company returns to Queen's Hall with this immortal tragedy of love and jealousy.
In the storyline, Cyprus faces a Turkish invasion. The Duke of Venice sends Othello the Moor, his top general, to protect Cyprus.
Othello recently married Desdemona and their love appears unbreakable. However, Iago, Othello's 'malevolent' officer, aims to ruin his general by instigating jealousy.
Elysium has impressed Hexham viewers with shows including Miss Julie, A Doll's House, The Island and Reiver.
