The HandleBards theatre company is bringing its pedal-powered acting back to Northumberlandia this August.
Known for carrying all set, prop and costume necessities on their bicycle journeys, the company specialises in performing plays outdoors across the globe.
This year, the mobile ensemble is bringing to stage 'A Comedy of Errors' on August 22.
Written by renowned playwright William Shakespeare between 1589 and 1594, the play is one of his earliest and shortest.
With a comedic narrative revolving around mistaken identities of two sets of identical twins separated at birth and unknowingly reunited on the same island, the upcoming performance promises high dramatic value.
The performance will take place underneath the watch of 'the Lady of the North'.
Built with 1.5 million tonnes of rock, clay and soil, this enchanting sculpture by Charles Jencks stands one hundred feet high and runs a quarter of a mile long.
