TWO software consultants who met hiking in the Bavarian Alps tied the knot in a ceremony at Hexham House.
Andrew Richardson married Dilek Koyuncu on June 22.
Andrew, 49, met Dilek, 51, while hiking in 2019 and proposed at the top of the highest mountain in Germany, known as Zugspitze, in May 2023.
The pair are both from Tiptree in Essex.
Dilek's wedding dress was from White Silhouette in Munich and was altered by Pont Dressmaker, a business located in Ponteland.
Andrew's suit was sourced from Waltons Formal Menswear Hire, Newcastle.
His best man was Adam Farebrother while John Champion was an usher.
Dilek's maid of honour was Ahu Koyuncu.
Her bouquet was made of phalaenopsis orchids, white roses and white wildflowers, while the flower girl's bouquets were just phalaenopsis orchids.
Table decorations were also phalaenopsis orchids, white roses and white wildflowers.
The supplier was the florist The Bee & Botanist, based in Morpeth, while the German Black Forest wedding cake was made by Davidson of Darras Hall.
The couple's wedding reception was held at Matfen Hall with 30 guests.
Their honeymoon was a tour around the Amalfi coast in Italy.
