ONE person was airlifted to hospital after two vehicles crashed yesterday.
Northumbria Police officers attended the crash scene, which involved a motorcycle, near Corbridge at approximately 1pm.
A Northumbria Police spokesperson said: “At around 1pm yesterday (Monday, August 12), we received a report of a two-vehicle collision in the Corchester Lane area, near Corbridge.

“Emergency services attended, where it was found one person had sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
“The road was closed while the vehicles were recovered. However, the road has since been reopened and is running as normal.
