Gibson & Co will offer mirrored and single wills with all fees donated directly to the hospice.

This is a popular service which books up well in advance. Fees are taken at the time of booking and are not refundable.

By leaving a valid will, you are helping those around you make difficult decisions when you are no longer here to decide. Making a will can feel uncomfortable but with the support and advice of Gibson & Co., this unpopular task is made into a positive experience.

Whilst there is no obligation to leave a legacy, most charities rely on gifts made under wills to support their operations. As well as enabling you to support a cause close to your heart, making a gift to a charity under your will has tax advantages for your estate.

A gift to charity is free from inheritance tax and can reduce the tax bill on your death. If you leave more than 10 per cent of your entire estate to charity, then the total amount of inheritance tax you pay reduces from 40 per cent to 36 per cent.

They can be used to create long-term trusts for vulnerable family members. As a result, they can save your dependents considerable amounts of money.

Cathy Bates, fundraising manager for Tynedale Hospice, said: “We would like to thank the team at Gibson & Co for their continued support. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone to obtain a professional will, at a discounted price, whilst supporting the Hospice Care Services.

"There is no obligation to leave any form of legacy to the Hospice through this process but any gift to the charity is greatly appreciated. All funds raised from this event go directly to support the care services that the Hospice provides to the community. “
