A MALE voice choir will return to rehearsals next month after enjoying a summer break.
Singers of Hexham Male Voice Choir enjoyed a summer break from performing after their last concert in July.
Ray Taylor, the choir's musical director, said the choir will return to rehearsals in September.
"We had a great turnout and reception for our summer concert in Haydon Bridge in July, and after a break in August, we are back to rehearsals first Thursday in September (September 5)," Ray said.

"We will be getting to grips with a new repertoire of music, old and new, for our autumn concert titled A Musical Mystery Tour on October 12 in Hexham.
"We will be welcoming a new accompanist Zoe Solomon, who is a recent graduate of Durham University, having completed a music degree, with a first in piano performance. She also plays the harp so we may well be including that in future programmes. She is looking to grow her experience working with a male voice choir and we are thrilled that she is joining us.
"Talking of growing, we are always on the lookout for new singers, and there is an open invitation for anyone to come along and listen to us rehearse and decide if they want to join us."
