Heddon Culture Festival is set to return this weekend, with local talents taking the spotlight.
As part of the festival, visitors can meet artist Sue Malkin and writer Kimberley Adams on Saturday, August 31 between 11am and 1pm at The Roman Forge, adjacent to Heddon Library.
The two talents, both based in Northumberland, will share their experiences and insights.
Art enthusiasts can peruse Ms Malkin's studio, viewing her sketchbooks and finished works, with many portraying her passion for horses.
Readers will find Ms Adams in the garden, revealing why she penned romantic comedies about Lindisfarne and her publishing journey.
The festival welcomes well-behaved dogs on leads in the garden.
Full details of the festival, including the weekend programme, can be found on Facebook by searching 'Culture Festival Heddon on the Wall'.
